Auberge du Trappeur

Our Inn “Auberge du Trappeur” is located at the entrance of La Mauricie National Park, on the site of Mokotakan which is devoted to sharing Native culture.

Nature lovers can experience a variety of outdoor activities: guided black bear watching, moose and beaver watching, canoeing, kayaking, walking trails, dog sledding, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing with trapping interpretation.
Aside from our 10 renovated comfortable and welcoming rooms, we offer accommodation in teepees onsite at Mokotakan or in one of our holiday cottages.

Our restaurant offers a variety of wild meat specialties such as Caribou. We recommend our favourable package deals. Our Inn, in typical local style, also offers a comfortable lounge decorated with different regional animal furs, where you can relax whenever you want. There is also a shop with great Native arts and crafts.
